California Dreaming…

September 8th, 2011 by Luca

The summer holidays are over but I’m still dreaming about LA. Its a great place for kids especially if they like the outdoors. My Mum was extra happy as it was the first time I ever went hiking with her. We walked right up near the Hollywood sign – cool! The next day we rented bicycles at Santa Monica pier and I raced her along the water front almost to the airport. I secretly wanted to see the planes take off over the beach :)

My favorite hotel on this trip was the Sunset Tower. The staff were so friendly. They even let me behind the front desk to charge my ipod.  Also I’ve decided I like my french fries with truffle oil. But I’m going to keep that to myself. I can’t wait to get back to LA!  Love Lucaxx

Living in a Tree House at Winvian!

May 10th, 2011 by Luca

I just lived every kids dream and spent the weekend in a real life double decker treehouse! This was not an ordinary treehouse. It had a steam shower, deep soak tub, 2 fireplaces and a great outdoor space to sit and watch the stars, as we ate s’mores past bedtime! I wasn’t sure what I liked best as there were too many things to chose from. But waking up in the morning finding a bike had been delivered, at the base of the tree felt like real magic!

Friends, fish and hammocks.

May 2nd, 2011 by Luca

I’ve just returned from Puerto Morelos Mexico and stayed at the most fun beachside hotel called Ceiba Del Mar.

Every morning I ate breakfast (delivered to our room via a secret compartment) on our balcony overlooking the sea. I would follow this by either snorkeling on the reef, swimming in the pool or swinging in our hammock. My Mum said she actually found this vacation very relaxing because I was busy making lots of friends. (See Nico from London below). I have a feeling we’ll be coming back here! Http://www.ceibadelmar.com

Bathing under the Moon.

April 3rd, 2011 by Luca

I just stayed on the 40th floor of Trump Soho NYC and felt like I was living in the clouds. I got to watch the taxi’s go up and down the streets with my friend Kai who came for a playdate. My favorite part of the weekend was having a bath under the moon and getting to stay up past bedtime watching movies in bed. I want to return soon.

Swimming in the City.

I love this hotel because it has the best swimming pool ever. The water is nice and warm so you can swim as much as you want, even when its snowing outside! It’s also really quiet so it makes you feel relaxed. My Mum says its great coz she gets a bit of peace from New York City. “I don’t want to go back to real life.”
